Executive Director

Michael founded a Miami-based DSO, Towncare Dental Partnership, in 2005.  He grew that organization to 60 locations and affiliated with Dental Care Alliance in 2013, where he served as an executive.  He was a founding board member of the Association of Dental Support Organizations (“ADSO”) and served as President for many years.

Michael served in the Florida House of Representatives from 2010 to 2018 and was noted for his work in Education reform.  He continues to be involved in Florida educational policy.   Michael is the Executive Director of the Dennis Bileca Institute for Character and Excellence.  The Foundation funds non-profit charter schools that focus on virtue-based education with an emphasis on classical liberal arts curriculum.  The schools they founded are among the top performing in Florida.

He served on the Board of Jackson Health Systems, the largest public hospital in the Country.  He currently serves as Board Chair of Miami Dade College, the largest community college in the Country.

He received his Business degree from Tulane University with a minor in philosophy and MBA from Kellogg University.
