The Association of Dental Support Organizations (ADSO) will host the first ever Partnering for Growth 2017 conference at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center near Washington, D.C. The September conference will feature many panel discussions, small group sessions, and events, including a networking reception hosted by the Straumann Group on Thursday, September 21. The reception, open to all attendees, will provide members with the unique opportunity to network and discuss industry issues among peers.

Dr. Donald Gallo, Chief Clinical Officer of Dental Care Alliance, will present on the principles of case acceptance on Friday, September 22. A nationally renowned consultant who has worked with many of the major DSO’s in the country, Dr. Gallo will focus on how to develop training systems and processes to enable consistently higher levels of patient case acceptance. The presentation will be based on the foundational principle of building trust with the patient, and will cover setting up a systematic approach that is duplicable, scalable, and immediately implemental from a single doctor in a single practice to hundreds of doctors across many practices.

Benevis to Lead Workshop on Evolving Compliance Programs at Partnering for Growth Conference

Andy Oreffice, Senior Vice President of Compliance and Government Relations with Benevis, will lead a workshop on Thursday, September 21. Mr. Oreffice will share Benevis’ experience in evolving the compliance program for Kool Smiles and address the seven elements of an effective compliance program for any DSO.

Mr. Oreffice joined Benevis in 2006 and serves as the company’s Sr. Vice President of Compliance and Government Relations. In this role, he is a member of the executive management team, is the Chief Compliance Officer and is responsible for Federal and State Government Relations. His diverse corporate and entrepreneurial leadership background includes being a founding partner in a successful physical and occupational therapy company with eight locations.

A 17 year veteran of the American Association of Orthodontics, an international dental specialty association, Mr. Vranas has an extensive career managing associations as a data-driven organization that keeps the leadership in a strategic position to maintain relevance in a constantly changing environment.

The conference, taking place at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center from September 21-22, will provide educational content that is geared specifically to connect with small & emerging groups, and share best practices to grow in the DSO industry.

Attendees will have the unique opportunity to hear from a number of speakers during this year’s conference including member company CEOs, dentists, and industry experts. ADSO President Michael Bileca will kick off the morning sessions on the 21st with a workshop on the fundamental principles of personal and team leadership, principles that apply to DSOs of all sizes.

Mr. Bileca was elected to the Florida Legislature in 2010 and currently serves in Florida House of Representatives.
