February 10, 2016 — The Association of Dental Support Organizations (ADSO) announced today that Quinn Dufurrena, D.D.S. J.D., Executive Director, will be stepping down as Executive Director of ADSO to pursue new ventures in the health sector.  However, he will continue to support the ADSO as an industry spokesperson and advocate.

“Quinn has made significant contributions to the ADSO and to the growth of the ADSO,” said Stephen E. Thorne, IV, President and CEO of Pacific Dental Services and ADSO President. “Although he will no longer serve as Executive Director, we are pleased to announce that Dr. Dufurrena will remain part of the ADSO family, carrying out our mission of promoting dentist choice and access to dental care. We wish him the best with his next endeavors, and look forward to continuing our work with him.”

Dr. Dufurrena has served as Executive Director since 2014. In his time with ADSO, he has seen the company grow to more than 40 member companies and 100 industry partners in the U.S., Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. While Dr. Dufurrena’s role is in transition, the administrative and supervisory functions of the association will remain in the Arlington, Virginia offices under the leadership of the ADSO’s Chief Operating Officer Lauren Rowley.
